Lillith is a throwback to the teen slasher genre, popular in the 90s and early 2000s. Critics compare the film to cult classics Ginger Snaps and Jennifer’s Body. The film is the directorial debut for writer-director Lee Esposito. Ritterhaus Productions members serve as department heads of the production; Vincent Caffarello as Director of Photography and Chris Hammarberg as 1st Assistant Director.
Tonight’s screening kicks off a week-long run at Atlantic Cinemas, from September 13th – 20th. The film has been well-received by the theater; Atlantic Cinemas has invited Lillith back for an additional run on October 25th and 26th for Halloween. An additional local screening is planned for October 26th at the ACME Screening Room in Lambertville, New Jersey in coordination with the Halloween in Lambertville event. The Ritterhaus Productions team will be in attendance for a Live Q&A. Lillith has also been accepted to three film festivals: Hot Springs International Horror Film Festival, New Jersey Horror Con & Film Festival, and The Halloween Horror Picture Show.
